It is a matter of great joy that in the southern part of the city of Kolkata a baby of only four years has already started running in the track of success. The baby is the “Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management” Which offers courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering and Information Technology as also Bachelor’s programs in Computer Application and Business Administration. The campus is nearest to Tollygunge metro. Compare to any other Engineering college , Institutes, Universities of Kolkata the Institutes has built up a huge infrastructure in the shape of library and laboratories, workshops and lecture theatre. Teachers, having brilliant academic records and the members of non-teaching sector, having records of splendid service, are all eager to dedicate their energy at the alter of the Institution. The aim of the Institution is to produce young engineers and technologists, who will be burning with scientific in sight, and at the same time will feel a justified place of pride in the rich culture heritage of the nation. I am sure through concerted effort of all and perfect understanding between the members of the faculty and students, supporting staffs and members of the administrative fraternity, Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management will soon shape into a center of Excellence in the field of Engineering and management.
