Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management established in 2003 by some Educationists and Social Workers is a unique Institution in Kolkata. Situated in the heart of a Metro City, this Institute has the potential to be the center of excellence. This has been reflected in its ambiance, its Infrastructure, its Staff Structure and the Academic Environment created by the untiring efforts of the members of Teaching and Non-teaching community.
The motto of any professional institute is to prepare the students well-equipped to enter the job market. It is really heartening that reputed organizations like WIPRO, HCL and IBM, etc have absorbed our students through campus recruitment drive.
This college is still young; a toddler in its 5th year, but it has all the elements to be an educational Institute of repute.
